Outdoor basking temps?

At what point is it too cool to go outside for some sunshine? We are in Atlanta, and on a good day, we hover between 65 and 70. Didn't know where the trade off between proper temps and natural sunlight tips over.

full sun, 55 air temp is fine, the cham will bake to about 75-80 core temp. I would be more concerned with say 75-80 and sunny. Those temps my guys want in after about 30-45min if its full sun(my outdoor cage doesnt have shade) because they get too hot. By 85 full sun im lucky if can wash my car before they want in.

Gotta remember Madagascar and Yemen are not very hot nor very cold.

works for me. All the threads I found were several years old. I'm not familiar with the users that posted there, like I would be with current active members. Always feels better to hear it from sources you trust.
