orange urates all the time

My male veiled always has bright orange urates which i know means he is dehydrated. he always has puffed out eyes (you know what i mean not like when they go in when dehydrated) and displays nice colours. he isnt a big eater and only drinks from his dripper about twice a week. i sparay his cage everyday. will spraying more and for longer help

Spray for a really long time, like five minutes and make sure the ambient humidity is in the 60% area.

Could also mean you are using too many supplements? What is your supplement routine?

How fast does the dripper drip (a few drips a second, a few a minute)? does it drip constantly, all day? Does it drip onto a leaf or is there a hose he can easily drink from? Do you clean the dripper (and hose) regularily?

What feeders do you use? If you add in silkworms and hornworms and cabbage loppers, that will help with hydration. Butterworms also, though not as much as afore mentioned
What do you gutload with? using lots of fruit and fresh vegetables, rather than dry gutload, will help hydrate your feeders, thus helping to hydrate the chameleon.

and ditto what pssh said - cant hurt to increase misting sessions and check the humidity.
