Ontario Keepers Take Note

Sounds like bad news to me. Sorry that you all may be having to purchase an exotics license soon.

I actually dont think that it will affect the chameleon world too much. In Canada anyone is actually able to import chameleons from anywhere in the world (Go Canada!). Since chameleons and other lizards have been pets for so long, i think what they mean by exotic are like bigger animals that can actually survive in canadas climate and will actually cause a problem if they were released. maybe im just hoping for the best haha

not worried, it seemed more slanted towards pets escaping and becoming predators out in the wild. similar to the snake issues in florida.

It indeeds need to be defined better. I just hope they don't expect to have to register all the: snakes, iguanas, chameleons, bearded dragons, geckos etc. Because, at the end, it will cost them more than what they will get, especially if they keep this definition.
