one month old

Alright I just got a baby chameleon, pet shop said they were about a month old. This is my first chameleon and although I did lots of research before getting one I was not expecting to get one this small. I am keeping him a small enclosure for now because he is sooo tiny (about an inch long). I am afraid I might lose him or he might fall if I put him in the large cage. I am misting it several times a day with a cup on top for a mini drip system. I am also feeding him baby crickets, we tried the fruit flies but he didn't even seem to notice they were there (And they were getting all over our house). Hoping for better luck with the crickets. Just hoping anybody has any tips for keeping my little guy alive and healthy.
Oh and what is the best brand of gut loader? Any favorites?

What type of chameleon? Also, with those fruit flies, get a small container and put a piece of fruit in it. They will typically stay around the food. My favorite brand of gut load is repashy bug burger! I make a batch of that and mix in greens. How are you doing on supplementation? Man! Your Cham sounds tiny!! I'd love to see a picture of him and your set up! Maybe I can give you some helpful tips! Welcome to the forums :)

Added some pics, hope you can see them. He is very tiny. Right now I am dusting the crickets with Tetra ReptoCal. But he doesn't seem to be eating them or anything for that matter. But I have only had him a few days. Oh and he is a Jackson.

I added info and accidentally posted it twice so I removed this one

Oh man! It is SOOOO tiny!! Jackson can be tough at that age. I have a jackson myself. Based from what I can see, it looks like you are keeping it in a plastic tank thing. Similar to what I use for my breeder crickets. I also see some wood chip type substrate in there? Wait. Let me just tell you howy cage is set up for my jackson.

I have a warm dry side, and a cool moist side. He's in a reptibreeze. With plenty of foliage to hide.

Jackson's are very sensitive to supplementation. I'm not familiar with the brand your using. I use repashy Lo-d. It's an all in one. You'll find everyone has their own opinion on this, it's working for me. I Dust with it about 3 times a week.

With Jackson's, most use a humidifier of some kind. I bought an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier that I attached tubing to. It runs all day on my cool moist side.

With the size of your jackson, its going to need those fruit flies. Or pin head crickets. Something tiny, because it's tiny. Don't run out. Always have them. Babies eat a bunch!

UVB light is crucial for any Cham kept in captivity that is not able to get outside into real sun. He also has a basking bulb. Here is a link to the Jackson care sheet here on the forum. It's very helpful!

Here is a link to a video in you tube to a man who has successfully raised Jackson's. His video helped me a ton, so it might help you too!
