Looks good. Some may want you to ditch the coiled UVB.
Suggestion: Position a branch under the basking light for your chameleon. Be sure to double check the temperatures on that branch.

You've done a good job. I remember you had a post about how she hides from you a lot. I would maybe supply her with a bit more coverage. Also If you can place her cage higher up, she would feel more secure. You also might want to move her away from the TV. That will stress her out.

Just out of curiosity. Do you know how to handle her when she needs to lay eggs?

the pothos is a low light plant so keep it well watered and misted and even with that don't be surprised if you find fried leaves. There aren't too many live plants that will take the real high basking temps, just tuck them down for him to wander down to cool off and take a break. If the pothos just wilts don't worry, they bounce back with a good drink ;)

bloody hell.....what kind of UVB bulb. becuase i got that uvb at the pet store, they told me that it was a good one cost me 30! damn it.....

You need a tube lamp. In that cage a Reptisun 5.0 will work.

If you have any questions about what you need, ask us before you buy. There are a lot of people on this forum who will help you if you are patient.

Its not so much the coil its the type: compact.

I had a compact over my 3 month old panther and it burned his eyes. He stopped eating and died.

You should check out this website and read up on the lighting you need for a chameleon.

I asked you if you knew about her needs when she needs to lay eggs. Are aware of the needs she'll have?

Try taking back the coiled UVB-if they give you any problems explain somewhat loudly that you know they are dangerous and that you are really shocked that they would sell you something so dangerous. :) Also, just for fun, look up the same thing you just paid $30.00 for on LLL Reptile or Big Apple Herp-I am willing to bet they sell if for at least 1/2 that much! Than order from one of the previously mentioned online reptile product stores a Zoomed Reptisun 5.0 flourescent tube-18" should work just fine on that cage-than either spend the money on a fixture or go to WalMart and buy the $7.00 undercabinet fixture that is located in the lightbulb isle.

Open up one of the reptisun compacts and show the guy the leaflet inside.

What I meant was... Zoo-Med knows there is an issue now, and they include a special instruction leaflet so you don't make the same mistake I did... Place the lamp too close to the animal. Even if you follow the instructions you are still subjecting your animal to harmful UV. More UV isn't always better. A 5.0 tube lamp will do the job just fine. And remember to remove any clear plastic covers the lighting fixture has. You want nothing between the lamp surface and the animal (except the screen of the cage, do not place the lamp in the cage).
