Oh no! Help!

Ok so I recently realized that my chameleon sleeps with 1 eye open, the other shut...is this natural? I mist the cage a lot. I noticed 1 eye looks slightly different than the other...i guess more sunken in is the word? Im not really sure. Its weird. She uses BOTH eyes during the day moving them around and all. can someone post a pic of HEALTHY veiled chameleon eyes????

A vet visit may not be needed right this second. At this time we dont even know anything specific about the problem.

How long has she been in your care? Is the area around her cage generally high traffic? Turn lights off at normal time and come back in around 3-4 hours if one eye is still open something is wrong. But peaking within 30 minutes to 1 hour after lights off is quite normal in newly acquired animals

the heat lamp i have for her says nighttime lamp but it still gives out a faint red light, and i will check next time. It could have just been to early...but then again that eye that was open was very shriveled and dry looking....are = not high traffic. and i have had her for a week.
