Oh my incubator!

Finally broke down and got an incubator for my worm breeding. Put some silk eggs in there and they hatched in 9 days! Boy am I happy with my investment. Next I will put the horn worm pupae in there and time them.

Take that winter weather!

I have made some incubators, but I usually just put bugs/bug eggs near a heat lamp. :) I'm a little cheap I suppose. If I have a condensation issue, I put a piece of paper towel in the container.

Which one did you get?

I got a reptibator. I bought it used from a forum member and it works perfectly. I was using a heat lamp previously and my hatch times were quite long and unpredictable.

I was ordering worms online only for them to turn to mush and die so I knew I had to do something to get my own going again. I never had a die off until I started ordering online again. I am pretty excited so far.
