hey everyone :) Xanthus has been doing fine except for one small problem  his tongue just seems like its not sticking to the crickets lately  normally he shoots, and gets the crickets on the first shot, but lately hes been shooting and the tongue hits the cricket but then the cricket just falls off, so he follows it and gets it on the second try :) does it mean hes dehydrated? any feedback would be helpful :D

chameleons dont rely solely on "stickiness" to catch their prey. It is a muscle function that "sucks" the prey item to the tongue. Normally I would up misting and water intake and calcium. What does his urate look like?
