hello everyone its been awhile since my last post but thanx for being there when i need to. i have a female veiled cham, and i was under the impression that unfertile females still lay eggs. i have sucessfully bred her in the past and produced offspring and she looks very healthy to date. it seems like its been 6 months and still no eggs. when was breeding her it seemed like every 4 months she would mate then lay eggs not long after. going on 6 months and she is healthy and i dont see any visible lumps for eggs on her sides. is this normal?

What temperature do you keep her at?
Do you mind her food intake so as to limit /cease egg production?

or is everything exactly the same as before when she was laying eggs?

A veiled can produce eggs about every 120 or so days once she is sexually mature. If you feed her well for a couple of days after laying them and then cut back the feedings to the right point she should stop laying eggs. (I keep the temperatures slightly lower too to slow the metabolizm a bit so she will be less hungry.) It seems that you can stop the female completely from laying eggs if you get the amount that you feed her right at the right times in her cycle....or at least keep the clutch size less.
