As more and more of Dhaulagiri's sons get out there I wanted to make a thread of them. So if you were one of the lucky ones to get on of his boys post up their progression.
I will start with one that is most likely going to stay here. He has always been the whitest one of the bunch but now his red rivals Storm:eek:

Just out of curiosity-
How did you end up naming the sire - "Dhaulgiri" ?
Have you ever been there ? Or just the word itself amazed you because of it's meaning ?

I haven't been there but all my animals are named after mountains. Many after 8000m peaks. The meaning is also taken in to consideration when picking a name, so this one fit. Our huge black Lab is named Makalu which means the great black one.

this is why i have been avoiding going over to see the falys...
so gorgeous,:D i would not be able to leave without one!
