Nosy Faly - Male or Female?

Does anyone know my panther chameleon’s gender? Unfortunately I purchased my panther chameleon from Backwaterreptiles before doing my research. I selected a male preferpence. I just want to make sure. I am aware that this Cham is super young.

I am certainly no expert at sexing baby panthers, but due to the tail being quite a bit wider at the base and tapering, I would say male. Hopefully someone else will confirm or disprove me.

It's easier to determine with a better photo of the back of the foot. From what I can see, there do not appear to be any spurs but I'm no expert either.

If I’m not mistaken, only veiled males have spurs on their feet.

If I’m not mistaken, only veiled males have spurs on their feet.

Several other species have Spurs too...but not panthers.

Hi! Welcome! it is hard to tell when they are so young! If he is male, he will show bright colors as he starts to mature. Females, stay a peachy brown, pink color.

I was thinking the same, so far I’ve only had one person disagree(thinks that it’s a female) but if you look closely you can see small hints of color. I feel like I see a tad bit of green. He is a Nosy Faly by the way

At that age, females and males will have the same colors. To sex, you'll look for a hemipenal bulge for males.

I can not help you with gender but I would suggest getting a fecal run to ensure that baby did not come with a parasite load.
