Nosy Be, Mitsio?

Hi guys,

I've had Roger now for 2 years - and he's living a very happy and spoilt life.

I'm looking into breeding him over the next year or 2 (before you ravage me with questions, yes I can afford it, yes I have the time and I'm not going into anything without knowing absolutely everything possible about it).

Before I sourced a female, i just wanted to be 100% sure of what colour morph he is. The guy who sold him to me said he was a Nosy Be x Mitsio - as he has both blue and green. However when I look at other Nosy Be x Mitsio panthers they look completely different! I don't want to take just one persons opinion (especially when that person has never kept chams!) So I thought I'd ask the experts

You have to take the breeders word. If the breeder said he is a cross...Hes a cross.

Yeah he's a cross. Could pass for an Ambilobe though...

I agree.that blue Y bar with red eyes says he could have some ambilobe blood in him.It hard to say with cross's no two look the same.Good luck with your breeding project
