I didn't know where I should post this but I figured there would be some forum members would enjoy these pics. These are all taken in northern Humboldt county on the coast near the Klamath river.

Great shots as always. Todd, is it hard to get the hang of these cameras? I would liketo purchase a used one to learn..

Thanks for the compliment.

I wouldn't say that the are hard to get the hang of, but it takes a lot of practice and thousands of pictures to get a few good ones... For every good picture I take I will have 30 or so that are discarded. Like anything, do your research and don't be afraid to ask people questions.

See ya,

Nice photos Todd. We have an elk heard here in PA in the middle of the state. I've hiked through "elk country" here in the state but have never seen any. However, if that were my mission, I know there are a few spots you can go to see them reliably. I think they have a lotto and issue a small number of permits to hunt them each year, but I'm not positive. I'm not a hunter, but many of my friends & family members are...I live in area where the local schools are closed for the first day of buck season!
