Seems like I find myself changing set ups for my chameleons often, I think i finally found one I am happy with! The cages are tiki tikis custom cages (15x18x30s), set up with little cabinet racks to keep the plants off the bottoms for easy cleaning, works wonderfully!

Testing out some new lighting for basking lights over these cages, with halogen track lighting from home depot. It works out great since i can run 1-6 lights on a 4' track and only use ONE outlet. Topped off with t5HO arcadia lighting. Im very pleased with how it has turned out.

These are definitely my favorite cages ive had so far and trust me, ive had them all! I still have one more rack i plan on filling up soon so ill post more pics when i get that done.

I like that you can get 3 cages under a 4' fixture. I have also been thinking of using halogen spots on a track. What wattage are you using? I bought an Arcadia light fixture but I'm not using it because some of my Chams have been hanging out on the screen under the fixture and I was a little worried about to much UVB exposure.

Love the set ups! they look great, and good idea w the elevated plants. Mine are a pain in the ass to clean lol

Lol thanks man. I got tired of moving plants and knocking down branches just to clean. Seen these in the kitchen section of a local store and ding! Little light bulb in my head went off:p

Yes they work out great! Im using 35w and 50w GU10 halogens in them. Ive been using the arcadia t5ho 6% bulbs over the bradys the entire time ive had them without any issue so far.. And i do have a few of them that are "screen clingers" lol.

That's good to know. I need to hook'em up. It would be cool if those cages were 36" tall. I like using a little bigger ficus trees. I really want to start making some screen cages as I have some ideas I want to try out.

I agree, the extra height would be nice. They do sell 22x18x36" cages but then you are limited to two cages per width of the rack. One little thing nice about these cages is they come with small plastic loops that screw in to the tops on the inside to hang vines and such from.

Looks great! I just put the same exact puck lights in today, but they are making the screen really hot since the beam is so concentrated. How far off the screen are yours?

Really, really nice setup. Very clean an organized! I do the same thing with my plants and it makes cleaning a breeze. Great job!

I assembled a couple more 24x24x48 cages this weekend so I could more Chams outside on sunny days without moving cages around. The new cages had those loops and they came in handy. I had to move one in each cage as I like to have all my misters in the upper left corners of the cages. The stands you have are a great idea. Maybe cut the legs down some and dip them in some rubber coating stuff.

Only about an inch off the screen, but theyre set at an angle to go down and across the cage.

Thanks :)

That is a great idea! It would give me more space up high. The legs have rubber boots on them so doing that would be a breeze! Thanks for the idea Craig! :)

Thanks bro, glad to see ya back around :)

Hey bob, you might think about throwing a few grasses in there to fill it out:

Just a thought. ;)

I like the track lighting idea alot as well.

I was using these bulbs with Stella, and she seemed to like them:

I wish I could! The little parlors i have are all from last season... Things are thin in the plant department at stores up here til spring :( All ive got to work with til then is scheffleras, scheffleras, and more scheffleras. I cant even find a live ficus for the life of me!

Those bulbs are similar to what im using in the other cages; par20 50w

Lol.. I think they'll be good til springtime without grass ;) No need for you to go through all that hassle.

When are you coming back to us?!?! Im expecting baby bradys soon!
