Hi everyone!
My name is Amanda and I have a female Panther Chameleon her names girly. She is about 8 months old! I got her about two weeks about and so far everything is going quite well. I'm excited about all the new things to learn!

This is girly!:p

Well missamanda - she is a fine looking female - really nice picture too!! I had to laugh when I saw your username - my name is Amanda too, and everyone calls me Miss Amanda! Welcome to the forums and the chameleon addiction!

Looks like you're using glass, might want to switch to screen for better ventilation, your chameleon will appreciate it. :)

Get some more real plants in there! I suggest pothos, schefflera, ficus, and hibiscus.

I hope you enjoy your little girl. :)

Thanks everyone =) for the comment and help!

I don't have anywhere for her to lay her eggs yet but I am going to have to put something in there soon.
She has a pothos plant in there now :) and i am trying to find a hibiscus that is short enough to fit in her cage.
Her cage is both screen and glass the top and the front are screen and the 3 sides are glass. All of the cages here are glass its really strange. Even in the stores/breeders. Must be a Canadian thing

Ive noticed that too! i live in b.c it does get quite cold, and humidity is sometimes to keep up.. so lotsa people use a glass / screen combo. Glad to hear you joined the forums and hope ya like it :) you have a beautiful chameleon right there :) if you find your humidity gets too high you may want to switch to a screen only eclosure, theres many great enclosures and deals at lllreptile.com they are a site sponsor

Welcome canadian :)

Welcome

What a lovely "Girly!" She's so healthy looking. Please don't be offended by suggestions of a nice screen cage for her. People here are totally willing to give you the skinny on what will make her thrive!

See you on the forums and don't forget to post lots of pics on the gallery of that sweet girl!
