Hi guys, before i start off i just want to say two things 1, sorry for any bad spelling as i have dyslexia, and 2. thank you for any help that can be given, very much apreciated.
Right then, me and my partner are thinking of buying a chameleon, we are intrested in the panther chameleon particulary the sambava and the nosy be.
My partner has some expirience in this feild as he's kept in the past skinks, flying gecko's and soft shell turtles, tropical frogs, small lizards and slow worms and piranhas, we are very into our animals we have at home at the mo 2labradors a rabbit, tropical fish. We've both been round animals our intire lives, i've had rabbits, guinnie pigs, horses, ostriches, hammsters, cats, dogs, so you get the idea we're very into our animals and want to make sure we get all the info poss to ensure the chameleon we get has the best life possible.
We've been reading up but there is soooooooooooooo much conflicting information out there, thats why i decidied to ask you guys, we'd like to know how easy are the panther chameleons to keep as some web sites say they're a good choice for first timers others say their not, some say go for mesh only vivariums and others say go for half mesh and half glass, so any help on what sort of vivarium to go for would be a big help as well, basicly we would just like to know if the panther is for us and what care it would need.
Thank you once again to anyone that can help
kind regards
Katy & Lee
