New to Forums, New to Chameleons

Hello everyone. I'm in the process of doing research on getting my first Chameleon. Nice to meet all of you.

Question: I'm interested in getting a veiled chameleon, but I was wondering if there were any species that might be considered more beginner friendly.

It's good that you are researching before getting a chmeleon!

Veileds are sometimes friendly and sometimes not. Panthers have a better reputation for being friendlier though.
Whichever species you get, I would recommend a male over a female because of the possible egg laying issues that come with a female.

Im new too likewise looking up needs before getting wants. Also on fence as too getting a veiled or a panther chameleon yet
