Ello my name is jeny and I have a question about my male veiled chameleon, I've had him for a few yrs now and recently he's been actin lethargic by that I mean he's been just layin around and out of no where will lose footing (he hasn't fallen to the ground) he usually will catch himself.I did research and a lot of things I'm reading and ppls advice says MBD (metabolic bone disease) but his joints are good looking and he eats just fine no tounge issues and eyes are in great shape as well but he just is gettin lazy he will let his two front feet hang and lay his head on the limb.....as for his care he has a 3ft tall cage and 18 inches wide (all screen) uva-uvb bulb, heat bulb,(temp around 90 with a cool spot)misting several times a day, feedin consists of greens and dusted crickets dust is calcium with D3(repi-life) and a vitamin powder(repti-vit) crickets are gut loaded with monkey biskets and water gel....he rarly gets held except to clean his cage cause he is wild caught (found out after purchase) and will attack when reaching in his cage......other than that he sits in the corner of the room where he can see us but not to close that we are on his "turf"......I saw that there was a list of things I needed to copy and paste but I'm on a phone and not able to do such so i f u need more info please ask....thank u for ur time(phone won't let me upload pics)
