New to Chameleon's

An update:

There are now 2 hibiscus, 1 ficus, and 1 camellia in his enclosure. The 150w bulb has been changed out with a 60w there is a digital thermometer in the enclosure with two different locations being recorded. One on top of the cage in basking area and the other on the opposite side towards the bottom. The basking temp is 85 and the ambient is 72 at night the cage got to 69.3 degrees. humidity ranges from (on top of the cage) 50% to 75% / (Bottom of cage) 65% to 80%. It took me a while to find him this morning as he was sleeping between some of the ficus leaves. I greatly appreciate all of the information that this site and its members have given me!! THANKS GUYS:D

I am wondering is there an amount (I mean ounces) that is preferred when misting? I have a 10 oz mister and at a slow rate it takes about 10 minutes or so to empty it. Also do you mist the chameleon directly? I have searched for the answers to these questions but was unable to find an answer.
