I've had my jackson since Friday.

The last 2 bowel movements have looked a little weird. (Im a nurse so maybe Im just concerned because I'm not sure what normal for a chameleon is yet...)

He eats 12 small crickets a day and also drinks well!

I attached a picture.., Im a little concerned with the red spotting in it...

Advice please?

Thank you for the swift reply!

Do you happen to know what it is?

The white (and the orange) are the urate part of the urine or whatever it is called that comes from the kidneys of birds and reptiles. One end is often concentrated, so is orange. If it is all orange, it is a symptom of dehydration and other bad things. There should be urine (clear) and urates (almost solid and white) coming from the kidneys and brown poop from the gut.

The first thead of the "Health" forum is all about poop.
