Is my Veiled chameleon male too skinny?

This may be a little late, but spider plants, Schefflera, Pachira aquatica, Pilea peperomioides, benjamin ficus, tradescantia zebrina's are super pretty easy to keep and even flower! Bromeliads can add a nice pop of color, and help create moisture because of the way they hold water in the leaf/flower stems.

Hi, sorry but by the time I found this I already went to a plant nursery and got some more plants. I think it looks better I also cleaned out his cage because it had a lot of poop in it. He’s now confused by all the plants it kinda cute to watch.

Do you guys think it is good enough now? Or should I add more things? I think he has enough but I have another plant that is safe for him outside.

Also, the plants I got him were a Pothos, Boston fern, and an air plant.

Oh wow, look at that air plant!!! 😍 It's massive!

I think everything will fill in nicely. About the window though, does it open or is it a bay window? You might have to watch the heat if the sun hits the cage for too long, or if there's a draft. It can spike up or lower the heat dramatically depending, which is when the heat/heyro prob come in handy. Looking like a nice home for your boy though! If you're able to afford it, a jungle dawn light will help your plants say happy too. 🙂

lol yeah it is quite big. I kinda had a hard time hanging it in his cage. The air plant also has some cute little flowers blooming. When I put it in there I found Spyro in it he was just hiding/ climbing in it. Got the air plant for $42

Looks like you've got a lot of good advice here already! I'm only a little anxious about the hanging fake plant, because veiled chameleons will eat plants like crazy.
Maybe you'd be interested in hanging that on the outside of his enclosure, so he still feels some of that safety from the coverage. My enclosure is a constant WIP, but this is what I've done with my fake plants so far:

By the way, I love his name. Those games were very impactful to me as a child 🐲

Hi, so basically the window his cage is at isn’t a bay window it’s just a bigger one. It has 2 layers, the layer on the outside ( 1st layer ) is screen. The second layer is glass. And yes, my window can open. But, it does not get much sunlight so I don’t really think it would be too hot?

Today I am going to Petco to see if they have any good thermometers or hydrometers. I am also going to check if they have the zoomed reptical or reptivite. I’m also going to get silkworms ( if they have them) or the plant light. If not, I might order some online.

Okay so, about the fake plant, it’s like my chameleons favorite spot to hide. I don’t know if I took it out it would stress him out of something. I haven’t seen him try to eat it yet, but after you talked about it, I may try to monitor him with it more.

Also thanks for the name compliment lol, I was just like “ hmm he sorta looks like a dragon and I think Spyro fits him. “

It does look like he makes use of it. I think the con greatly outweighs the pro myself, though. One mouthful is immediate impaction, and a complicated vet visit 🥺
A spider plant or pothos in that same spot would work just as well! Just a suggestion. My chameleon is almost always in his spider plant.

Aww your Cham is so cute! I’m like freaking out right now because Spyro took hornworms from my hand for the first time. He took 4. But, I’m not 100% sure I’ll get rid of it yet. I’m just not sure how I’ll hang the spider plant or pothos there. Maybe I’ll switch it if I can figure out how.

Spyro is always watching lol

Aww thanks. I love my little guy ;-;
I watched Neptune's video on attaching branches to a screen enclosure. It's pretty DIY.
Here's an image I doodled a while ago to give an idea of how I did it

And an old creepy night time photo of my enclosure earlier on which might make it easier to see the integrity of it all.

Of course, there are also Bill Strands Dragon ledges. They are more pricey, but I imagine they make the process way way more simple.
This guy also likens chams to dragons :)

Okay so basically I have this like green wire I use to attach like everything. Did
you just like use zip ties or something like that and just tie it around the pot and on the screen? If so, I may try that.

I used zip ties, yeah. They're more hefty and keep my pots standing strong. You want to affix plants to branches. I use plastic pots and stab two holes near the top of a pot that is like...The support pot, and then have the actual pot the plant is in rest inside the support pot. So they're double potted. if one goes bad, I can take out the plant and still have the layout in tact, if that makes sense.
I got a pack of these, which gives me a lot of room for error.

Yeah that's why I'm so worried seeing fake plants, because my guys eats them UP! 😅 He's left his mark on almost every leaf of that plant.
Oh, my Cham doesn’t usually eat leaves. I’ve only noticed like little nibbles in a tree when I ran out of food for him for 2 days.

Today I’m going to Petco to get these
