New Shed today

New shed at 5 moths old, his 2nd w/ me, and I'm not home to capture it on photo . Oh well there's alway next time. At least I have a few pictures at the start of the shed. Maybe this is the reason for his strange behavior recently... I hope anyway.
I put him in his new enclosure today to let him check it out for a little bit even though it's not complete. When he came out to go back in the old one I noticed his skin cracked at the top & a little piece of skin missing. Since I had to leave, I quickly put the humidifier on & sprayed down his enclosure for him, just in case he needed some extra humidity. Can't wait to get home & see his beautiful new colors that came out :D I will take some pics & add it in this thread later.
It's like having a new baby at the house. I call home now to check on him & my son. When I say did he poop, my husband asks... which one. Today when I call & ask did he shed, at least he won't ask... which one ;)

LMAO its really cool when they shed and when you call make sure they arent bugging him, they tend to be really easily stressed and kind of pissy when they are shedding:) post pics when hes done!

Thanks, Okay this is a teaser picture taken by my hubby from a cell phone through his cage screen... such a tease but better then nothing. He tried :) I will post better pics later.

Is that normal posture for a cham? Looks like his eyes are closed to me which might not be a good sign.

He does close his eyes during the day & I'm still trying to figure out what's going on w/ that... https://www.chameleonforums.com/still-worry-about-dehydration-eye-thing-posting-pics-49799/ :(. For this picture he was getting really to sleep or sleeping but for some reason didn't curl his tail up. Although this picture was taken after his bed time ;) I myself was wondering why he didn't curl the tail... maybe not totally asleep yet.

You can tell if a cham is sleeping look at his normal sleeping colors and then look at his daytime colors and if hes not fully asleep he will be somewhere in limbo on his normal/sleep colors

Thanks. Yep he wasn't totally asleep and in that same position when I got home. He should he been sleeping for hours by then! He really hasn't shed too much & almost looks the same from when I left earlier. I'm hoping he is out of sort because he still needs to shed.

Well here's some photos of Diego's 2nd shed at 5 months old & the aftermath... his sleeping colors!
