New Reptile

Does anybody have a lizard/turtle/any reptile that is inexpensive+ all equiptment for it if you do im really looking to get a new reptile i cant have a snake thoguh but just leave in comments

I have a leopard gecko. He is very inexpensive- bought him at a reptile convention for 20-30 bucks- he is very friendly and loves food and is easy to take care off. He has a glass cage and a heating pad a few hiding holes. You can get one from your local pet shop (I am sure it depends on where you live). He is very friendly, does not bite, and he likes to be handled). He eats any bugs and drinks standing water. If your looking for an easy to take care of, relatively cheap, reptile he is a nice starter. (Assuming he doesn't get sick and we don't have to take him to the vet). Maybe do some research about buying one online? They are very nice and fun to take care of!

I know you can buy cages online, maybe go to a reptile convention? Do you have any stores near you?

You have just two posts here the first one talking about your recent chameleon purchase and how he is sick and not eating. And now you are on these forums trying to beg for another animal?

How is your original chameleon? You never answered any questions about him.


From the way that you write you sound very young, Maybe you should hold off a bit before getting an exotic animal. Try some freshwater fish!

i have had plenty of reptiles we have had 2 litters of box turtles snakes and lizards we have plenty f fish and the reason i posted the other one was because it was only a day after we got it so it mightve been stressed btw its eating now also never said sick i just said not eating

Corn and Rat snakes are easy.They can have a couple in a 20g.You can get long tailed grass lizards for $4 and they have cool tails that wrap around your finger.I would also recommend leopard gecko, crested gecko, and bearded dragons for easy beginning reptiles.Hope I helped!

Leopard geckos are very easy and inexpensive, crested geckos, ball pythons (i know you said no snakes but i love them), bearded dragons are fairly easy but they do get pretty big and need a large cage, pacman frogs are very easy and look very cool in my opinion, and moon crabs, also known as Halloween crabs are very colorful and easy to take care of. An added benefit to these pets, excluding the pacman frog, is that they can be and even enjoy being handled. All of the suggestions in the replies are good ideas i just listed these because I have experience with them.
