New redesigned drainage stand for a row of juvie cages

So I had been using a wire laundry rack and sweater boxes for my stand and drainage reservoir but I was dumping water into the floor so it quickly became apparent I needed a resdesign. Here's what I came up with using 1x2 ferring strips and corrugated plastic(like they make political signs out of, actually the best use of political signs I have found to date!) and a bit of 4 mil plastic sheeting. All this I bought for around $20 the plastic sheeting you can't see in the pic but it catches any overspray and directs it into the gutter I made with corrugated plastic. All that drains into a sweater box but you could use anything you like.

i did the EXACT same thing for my montane cages last week. litteraly exactly the same.
lol thats weird
but it does work great

Great minds think alike right hoj? This design works much better than anything else I've tried. Not to mention how much cheaper it is.

Where's a god place to buy the corrugated plastic sheets? I have just about everything figured out on how I want my cage, but the bottom :eek:

Also excellent system ::)

I'm working on my stand still. But its coming along. Little simpiler design due.to my one cage.

sign shops have it for sure, i also found it at home depot, they keep it by where they keep the plaxiglass sheets, ( at least in my store )
4x8 sheet = 19.99 i also use it as the visiual barrier between my cages and to protect the walls from mister overspray.
i love that plastic. :D

Honestly this is illegal if you take them from people's yards BUT not if they are on public thoroughfare property. I use Rick Santorum signs for visual barriers! Hahaha! Check your local laws though, and make sure you scrub them down to get all that nasty fundamentalism off there. For the drainage part I used the blank sheets that are like 3'x3 approx from home depot for 7 bucks each. It creases really nicely as well.
