New puppy!

My roommate was allowed to adopt this gorgeous puppy from our local shelter yesterday! She was one of 8 puppies from the same litter, all of them different, so no one is sure what she is. She's most likely a lab with something else mixed in.

Her name is Lily, and she's only 5 weeks old. Because of this, she's only technically our foster dog, and the adoption will become official when she turns 8 weeks old. I'll try to get more photos of her as time goes by. She's a complete doll, she has a great personality!

Thank you! We are all for adoption, so when my roommate finally had the resources to get a dog we knew we had to look at shelters first.

Cute puppy. I have worked with shelters, rescue groups, and even my own shelter/rescue and from what i see she looks either Lab/Rott, Lab/Boxer, or Lab/Pitt just by the blocky head and floppy lookin lips. Either way she will make a nice companion for ya. I love Pitts and Dobermans myself.... Good Luck with her!!

Thanks!

Yea, someone at the shelter said boxer, but in this area we have thousands of pits so she might be part pit. One of her sisters was rottie colored, the rest black or yellow, and then there were some that had really wrinkly faces. So they were a mix of different features! Only time will tell what she looks more like.

Does it really matter what she is mixed with, that is one super cute little puppy. Congrats to roommate.
