New Melleri and Enclosure

I'm so excited The plastic I have under the enclosure works like a toilet. It only has one quarter size hole on the side with the tub and the poop went right through the screen onto the plastic. I got a pitcher of water and poured it through the screen and flushed the poop right into the tub.

what if you wrap some biovine or grape vine around it? that would giive him more to hang on to.... that or place another branch parallel up close to it to widen it out some... lisa

Great ideas. I have used rope, like the clothes line type. About $6 for 50ft, a lot cheaper than biovine which I love, just hate to buy!!

Thanks again everyone. Yesterday he ate 2 big dubias and seems to be settling in just fine. Waiting on a poop sample to get a fecal done and go from there. My great idea about the toilet doesn't help when you need to capture a sample so I put a large piece of plastic down.

Just two right now the baby from Flux and this guy. I'm already plotting on how to extend this enclosure to make semi separate chambers for more melleri ! Since I started this in the living room and it got too big to move that is the new melleri room . Not to worry, no one really hangs out in there and if we are, then I'll just put a cover over it if they seem too stressed out.
