Gravid or stressed. I assume you have a lay bin with her just in case?

i think gravid. when she gets stressed she gets black dots, but keeps a green background.
I hd not gotten her a lay bin jsut yet, she hadnt shown signs of being old enough ( guestimate her age around 6-7 months) however, im getting supplies tomorrow to build some cages, so i iwll be getting the bucket for her lay bin and sand.
She just showe dthese colors today, and now shes badk to her normal green.

Yeah they don't always show them all the time, some gravid females show them off and on, some not at all. Have you searched how to make a lay bin? or do you have experience breeding already? I don't know your experience =P sorry

i already know how do to it. no expereince with breeding just yet, but its on the horizon, got plans for several projects.
i just have to get the supplies. and i think shell be laying, so shes ggetting a bin tomorrow.

I figred thats what it was, but shes my only girl, and figured id ask....
though just for the record, she was getting a lay bin today anyway, even if she hadnt shown those colors.

Carol- yes i think its gramma time. SOmebody escaped...
LIly iwas in another room, closed door on her free range.
Kink was in his room, closed door, on his free range.
when i got home a few days ago.... lily was n the same room with kink, aobut 2 feet away..... soo.. have to assume they did naughty things

no! no tons of eggs! lol. small clutch. since veiled retain and lay second and even 3rd, i dont need 70 babies to feed.

your tellin me when I first got my girl she was gravid already and she laid 66 eggs. I have since cut back her food and I am expecting her second clutch in the next two weeks so I am hoping this one is smaller (fingers crossed)
Edit: all are fertile and already 3 months incubated "Yikes" I am starting fruit fly cultures early and by the tubsssss lol thank goodness they will be the only babies for 3 months. and that we breed our own crickets, meal worms, Super worms too
I am also going to be starting some Horn & silk worms this spring once my mulberry tree starts getting its leaves back

I keep lily on a strict diet. so im sure shell have a small clutch.. at least i hope so.
she showed gravid colors again today, so im def saying there are gonna be some eggs in a month or so.

We have been keeping them all on a strict diet. her previous owner had her eating almost 30 crickets a day
She has since been cut WAYY back and I am expecting a smaller clutch. I got lucky and a friend of mine breeds Chameleons as well and has offered to help out if I need it. breeding my own feeders is the only way I will be able to afford it with all of our other chameleons among other reptiles like our beardies, and water dragon, fat-tails you get the idea lol Tink starts showing gravid colors about 2 months after her last clutch (which was 2 weeks ago) she should be laying soon!
Just dug up some beardie eggs today too lol small clutch of 12 easier on my female though.

holy moly, 30 crickets!??! are they insane. that could kill her. Ill be happy with 25, if not less.
shes just so electric right now. shes so prettym and after some kink time... Kink is nicer too!
THATS ALOT of eggs. like alot alot.

ya we are gonna be goin crazy this summer with babie veileds ahh.... atleast the parents are good genetics turqoise and sunburst should sell pretty easy i hope lol
