Well, given that I am coming close to finishing my new enclosure, I need to build a new light unit for it.
The general plan was to have a 4' UV tube, 3 plant growth compact bulbs and a halogen spot light for basking.
And without further hassle, here it is (apologies about the pictures but the lighting was crazy to photo!):
I have a refllector for the tube (which in the picture is not a UV one!) but need to make some for the daylight bulbs. Any ideas?
My current idea is to use a cardboard tube (similar to a pringles tube) cut it in half and use aluminium foil to act as a reflector on the inside and reflect the light back down. I can use 'stiff' wire to hold the reflector in place above the bulb but would like to hear any other opinions/ideas and would love some pictures!!!
