And today I got 2 baby Veiled chameleons!!!:

And I am trying to do everything right, I know one is hardier than the other, but I couldn't resist them when I was at the exotic pet shop, then seeing the veiled babies on craigslist with a custom built cage, I hopped on that because they were so tiny(I know they won't stay that way forever), and cute! Misting 2x's or more a day, not directly just on the plants, I have a reptifogger on one cage(the Jackson's), and eventually will be getting drippers for both couples. I have a big jar of each calcium, and vitamins. This 2 weeks is vitamins, next week nothing, then 2 weeks of calcium, if I understood correctly. Well, hope to make some new friends, bye for now!!!:p:D

I think Jackson's chameleons need to be supplemented less than veileds do. I think if you search it up you could find out.
Veileds supplement schedule calcium without d3 every feeding, calcium with d3 2 times a month same with multi vitamin.

Ahh okay I will def look it up. Both care sheets I read online seemed very similar.

:DWell what can I say when I do something for the first time, I go all out! But at least it adds a little light and atmosphere to the living room!!! They are GREAT display pets so far!!! I already have 20+ Tarantulas, so I already have my hands full!!! My cup runneth over! And I couldn't be happier... Wish I didn't have such expensive hobbies though!!! LOL!!!:p

Welcome to the world of chameleons. If you thought you had expensive hobby's welcome to the real thing.:D i would rather not even try to add the thousands of $$$ I have spent on chams, housing, food, vets and all the other required stuff.

Since you do have your hands full we can try to help. I will now give you more info that you will know what to do with, but do come back and ask questions.

This is a help sheet. If you fill out one per cage or chameleon, we can see if we have any hints for you.

Also here are a couple of care sheets, one for your veileds and one for montanes - that is what your jacksons are. The requirements do vary a lot.

Thank you very much for the useful info and links! Please don't scare me too much tho! Or I might run and hide from them!!!;)

Looks like your hands are full. Do you keep each pair together? If so you will be wanting to look for a couple more enclosures in the not so distant future ;)

YepI do,and I managed to snag the leftover girl veiled from the lady. So now I have 2 females and 1 male baby. Are chams easy to breed?

Hello, welcome to the forum :) Your chams look great from here, congrats :D.....the species you have are not the most difficult to breed but they shouldn't be kept too close to each other especially when they hit a few months old and start to get territorial. A visual barrier between them is needed to keep stress down. Even if they look like they are getting on ok a chameleon can be aggressive with just its eyes :)
Breeding is generally not recommended until you have at least a couple of years of keeping your adults healthy and happy. Patience is a prerequisite for these little beauties, as you already seem to be aware :)
An overload of info. for you - a very useful video for Jacksons owners - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKTbUaOQ0aA
A great all-round caresheet for Veileds - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/chameleonsinmyhouse/395-veiled-chameleon-care-sheet.html

Just wanted to update everyone on my chameleon experience. Lost the two baby veileds... Due to illness, being sold to me waay too young... I am currently EXPECTING with my Jackson's!!! In a BIG way!!! FOUND a male veiled chameleon, looking to be early subadult, cruising my oleander bushes!!! Skinny but healthy! And was gifted a baby female veiled chameleon from a befriended pet shop I know...! So, I expect in the future to have both types of chameleons coming out of my ears!!! Thankfully I have a list of people, not to mention the pet shop who gifted the baby female, lined up who want to buy my future babies!!! Worst thing besides the loss of my baby veileds, has been a draught with my Dubia breeding!!! Ran über low on medium sized for a long time!!! And for a long time that's what EVERYBODY ate!!! Now I have Rango who could handle larges or medium large... And I've had a few Dubia pop, so I can feed my baby some baby Dubia's,!!! So that's that... Here's a funny pic of my male Jackson when he escaped.
