New cham owner! Need supplement advice

I just brought home a 5 month old Jackson's chameleon (you can see his beautiful face in my picture) and I'm used to geckos/bearded dragons but specific care for chameleons is obviously a whole different ball game! I tried to do some research before buying him, but I'll admit I'm fairly naive.

I wanted a good recommendation on a supplement that's easy to find and well rounded :) basic tips are welcome, but please speak in simple terms, like I said I'm new to this! Thanks guys!:D

Well i have a Panther Cham.. but i think the same rules apply.. you should dust your feeders everyday with Calcium WITHOUT D3... you dust with Multivitamin and Calcium WITH D3 once every 2 weeks. *if this is not the same for jacksons please correct me. *

ok it depends on the types of brands you use and how varied your diet is.
For jacksons, over supplementing is common. They just dont need as much as your other herps, or even other chameleons.

I use silk worms, roaches, crickets and flies. Some other random worms too. I sun atleast once or twice a week.
I use repcal product currently. The plain calcium 2 x a week, never on calcium with d3 because i have chances to sun them. I use the multivitamin 1 a month, repcal products are a bit more potent. Im ordering sticky tongue products soon.
I also feed all my crickets and roaches cricket crack that is specifically made for jacksons and other montane species of chameleons.

Try doing searches on this search engine and find nutritional facts. gutload info. all that.

I'm no expert with Jacksons, or any other species for that matter, but I'll try to help with what I know.

If I'm not mistaken, Jacksons don't need a lot of supplements like veileds or panthers do. They get most of their stuff from lighting, so you have to make sure you have the right lights.

You also have to make sure you gut load your feeders, that's probably the most important thing to do since pretty much every living species gets its nutrients from food.

Everyone does it differently, so you just have to find out what works best for you and your chameleon.

jacksons get easily oversupplemented.

When I had jacksons, I did repashy all in one calcium plus, which has everything in it, on a once a week feeding, very very lightly.

also jacksons like cooler temps, more water, and higher humidity.
