I just have to share my excitement that I'm getting my second cham today!! :D He is an Orange Crush male veiled from Tiki Tiki Reptiles, and I am picking him up from a Fedex hub by 10:30. I can't wait!!! =D

I'll post pics later :)

I had purchased one of those little guys about a month ago. He is soooo cool and his colors are coming in nicely. Did Chad tell you about how old he was? Just wonder because I am not totally sure how old my guy is. But good luck and tikitiki is such a great place to order from!

That Chad Boy will take care of you. A right nice youngun' he is.:)

i am looking forward to pictures. You should be getting him soon, but them I know where you are.

Here's Neko! :D

He is a lot smaller than I was expecting him to be. Chad said he was about 3 months old, but... I don't know. Is it possible for him to be that old while he's still this small? I will try to take another picture to show his size more accurately.

He is gorgeous though :D

OMG he just fell off my hand when I was trying to take a picture of him next to a ruler... He didn't fall far but I swear I almost had a heart attack... Is that normal for babies? My other veiled has always had a really strong grip and never fell, and she was about the same size when I got her...

shippng

I always wonder what our little friends are thinking when they are put into a small dark enclosure and sent off. You know there has to be some bumping going along their varied trips.

Nice lookin litttle fella. And yes he looks to be of appropriate size for a 3 mo male. Just be careful and dont drop him on concrete or hard tile. If its carpet then that cushions the fall somewhat. Im sure he's ok. He was prob just stunned for a second.;)

I wouldn't worry about the fall, it is a natural behavior. They do this to get away from predators in the wild. Usually they puff up during the fall to add a little more cushion to the sudden stop at the end. Knowing this, be careful when handling these young ones.

Ok, thanks. He really scared me earlier but that makes me feel better. He's fine though. And he's been eating well and as green as he can be, so I guess I can't ask for much more on his first day. :)
