New cage :)

Can't wait to get my new cage for my panther next month, but do you think he's too small for it at the minute?

I have him in an exo terra 45x45x45cm at the minute but I can't help but think there isn't much playing area for him lol

I'm going too buy him vivexotic ax36 (24x36x48 inches) he will be about 6 months old when I put him in here, do you think this is too young?

personally i feel he will be fine. It will take him time to Adjust to Hunting in a bigger area, but ours that we put in the bigger cage around 5 to 6 months were perfectly fine. they love the bigger environment and are always exploring. none of them have ever had a problem eating or anything. just make sure you have lots of Branches and Live plants. Remember Live plants help keep Humidity up.... good luck and enjoy the new cage

Thanks, I usually hand feed most of the time, but sometimes he refuses coz he likes to hunt lol yeah gonna pack it out full of live plants lol

Correction. my bad. i am going through a lot of posts. you stated that you have a panther. being that that is true yes i would say that you deffo have a male. i have never seen a female with coloration like that!

Good stuff! I can't wait!! You say about chameleon colour on a female, when I picked him up the breeder had a female there that had loads more colour than wot he has at the minute, she was gorgeous green with blue bars, I would have had her if I didn't mind the responsibility of the whole egg laying shanagans lol

typically a female will look kinda like this color wise. or with a lot of pale reddish. when dealing with panthers. i have never seen a female panther with lots of colors. i could be wrong who knows lol. but if i am right i personally wouldnt shop there for that type of stuff anymore if they arnt sure what there dealing with.

but like i said i could very well be wrong i just have never seen one like that as a female
