New cage

So I am planning on building a nice cage that has two sides for two panthers. I will put a wood divider between the two sections but just wanted to ask a couple things.

1. should i put anything on the inside of the cage over the wood or can i just leave it wood

2. when making the sides how should i go about this. i have seen where people use the front and back sides as glass to help keep humidity in and then the side and top as screen to allow air flow and then the same thing on the other side of the wood(the other cage as this is a two chameleon cage).

I just wanted some opinions on this cause the way i just described me seeing someone else's cage sounds like it was a pretty good plan to me but i want as much info on this before i go in and build a nice cage.

I wouldn't use wood because the divider will be get constantly and be a pain to maintain. If you can get a piece of opaque plastic, etched glass, opaque Plexiglas, or coroplast this will last a lot longer. Even a heavy piece of pvc sheeting would work.

If you meant it getting wet all of the wood would be treated to be waterproof and such. but i will for sure look into something like that. that might be a cool idea for a divider.

Of course a sealed wooden panel would repel water for a while, but it won't last forever and will eventually stain and warp. I'd look for a vinyl or pvc curtain panel showing jungle foliage!

hmm that would be really cool any idea where i could find something like this?

Search online for shower curtains....there are a few big sites that have all kinds of printed ones.
