New cage. To big?

Hello, I just got a new cage for my babies. Question is is it to big for my boy? All together the cage is 4 feet long 4 feet wide and 4 feet tall. But I have it divided in to to different cages. So it would be 2 feet wide 2 feet long and 4 feet tall on both sides. My boy is only about 6 inches with tail. I have had him for a wile now and he doesn't seem to be growing I was told it was the cage So I got a bigger one made. But is it too big? "I am not done putting the plants in, in either side."

Cage size is okay as long as he has access to, or can find his food easily.

However, he seems a little malnourished. Ribs are very apparent, and eyes seem slightly sunken. Probably dehydrated and underfed.

Disclaimer: I am no professional! This is just from my experience. Good luck

Yeah, the cage being too big is the least of your worries. He needs some more food and water for sure. What sort of drip system or mister do you have set up? How much are you feeding him a day?

The Chameleon Itself

The chameleon looks rather skinny. Try feeding it a bit more and make sure he gets a little rounder. If you don't have one already get a misting system or mist it yourself. Although when you mist the leaves try to not mist the chameleon.:)

Thank you for the reply's. I thought I explained that it the post but guess not  . He stopped eating and drinking about two weeks ago. But about two days ago he started eating again and he drinks water but not a lot. I was told to give him some wax worms to get him to gain weight. Do you think I should? Should I try the liquid calcium also? I do have a mister and I also mist the cage myself. Thank you.
