I am soooo excited. Just got an email from Steve Reecy that my female ambanja panther baby is ready to ship! He will be shipping her tomorrow and I will have her Friday morning. I can hardly wait. I have been checking out Steve's updated pics on his website www.chameleonplantation.com to watch the progression of the babies growth. They are too cute. he also has pics of mom and dad, so I know my girl will be a looker. I will be sure and post pics when she gets here Friday.

awesome! you must be bursting with excitement! is the intent to eventually setup a breedind project? Is the sire "orion" from his lineage page? Those purple bars on that male are spectacular!

best of luck, we cant wait to see pics of her arrival!

Steve is sending me one of the males from the same clutch so I will be getting him on Friday...I look forward to seeing your pictures to see how much alike they look!

Actually the parents are Cepheus and Andromeda and yes I hope to eventally breed her with my male, Sambatra. His pictures is in this months photo contest with the hibiscus flower. He is a very handsome fellow. I'm sure they will make sweet babies together one day.

i too have a new cham

and im very excited . i decided to name him "afo" since hes suppose to be a nice fire engine red and afo means fire in malgasy so i thought it was perfect. he jumped out of his carrying bin and right into his cage and began eating 6 cricks and still going. lol he must have been hungry. but i havnt seen him drink yet after misting him for a good 5-10 minutes, hopefuflly he will. hes exploring every inch of his cage so that makes me happy knowing hes in good health so far. now when should i take him to the vet for his first checkup? i would love to add a pic but im not sure how to do that on here

Enjoy your new baby! this is the perfect site for all your chameleon questions. I have learned alot myself. Was your baby wc or cb? If it is wild caught, you will need to have him checked for parasites. The sooner the better. If it is captive born, you should not have to worry about parasites. To add pictures - when you are replying to a thread or starting a new one - scroll down past the message section and the icons and you will see addtional options - click on the manage attachments and that should open your picture files. Hope this helps - Can't wait to see Afo.

well i put afo on the picture pages of the forum so you should see him and his father. being that the guy who sold me him and had his father im assuming hes a captive bred chameleon, but ill bring a stool sample to my vet and check him for worms anyway1
