Hey i just got a new female veiled a few days ago from a sponser. She is very tiny. Maybe 2 inches stv. Here is a pic you can see the How small she in comparision to my hand. I currently have her in a 65 gal reptarium. 16.5 (deep), 28 (wide), 30 (tall)? I am using 1/4 inch crickets and i am not sure if she can find them? I have a 10gal aquarium, but not a smaller screen cage. I know its NO GLASS, but is it ok for babies this small. Opinions please.... Also any guesses on age?

You could try cup feeding her. If you put a screen top on the tank, it should be ok. It may be difficult to get the temps just right. You want to be very careful not to overheat her. She is very tiny and the size cage you have her in now, may be too big.

I say try cup feeding and get her used to that then you can put her in a bigger cage.... the age is hard to guess but I would say 2 maybe 3 months... also with cup feeding you can really track how much she eats

So you guys are saying go with the 10 gal and cup feed untill she is bigger?

Cup feeding first. If that doesn't work, sometimes it doesn't, the 10 gallon until she is a little bigger is ok. But try to cup feed her first and see what happens. It may take a few tries before she gets it.

I would suggest a screen cage but if the glass is all you have the screen the top... some will disagree but I had my 3 month old veiled in a 48Lx32Lx36H and he did fine because he was cup fed and could find his food
