@Brodybreaux25 Also I was reading bemen’s thread on “building trust with your chameleon” and I started when I got home from work just sitting by his cage so hopefully he can get used to me being around.

I’ve never read her blogs but she knows what she’s doing. Follow her instructions closely and be patient.

Opie ate from my fingers today! I think he’ll only eat crickets for now. I would like to get him eating Dubias as I am having a tough time dusting the crickets without losing them. There may be one or two running around on the walls:\ also my children enjoyed laughing at me while I jumped around on the floor chasing baby crickets

Opie also had a little scare when he tried to snatch one of the crickets from me. When he retracted his tongue the cricket got loose ending up on his forehead, then ran down his back. He decided he had enough to eat immediately after that.

I’ve had him a week now. Some personality he has! He likes this front corner of his cage for some reason there isn’t anything there?

I just use a plastic cup like a kid would get at a restaurant and cover it with a piece of cardboard and shake them around in there. I've never had any escape from me that way!
