I hope you wonderful people can help out my friend, she would ask but doesn't have internet access right now.
My friend is a reptile keeper herself but keeps more simple/easier ones such as gecko's, bearded dragons etc and she just recently purchased 2 month old veiled chameleon. She became interested after seeing my 3-4 month male.
I helped her with the husbandry and printed off loads of care sheets and stuff from here for her so she always has something to fall back on if she needs help.
Anyway she purchased from a pet store
I wasn't with her from a store that personally I would have not purchased from as its kinda dirty and smelly but there is something I have NEVER seen or heard of before and dunno what to think.
On the end of the veiled chameleons tail to me looks like it has a dint in it, when she purchased the cham, the pet store says all babies have this and it falls off when older
I don't believe that really and I think could it possibly have been caught in the viv sliding glass and damaged??
The cham is healthy, eating and drinking fine, me and her are concerned regarding end of the tail
