Okay so u can't see the stand it sits on but its a cheap wood endtable with a glass pane set in the top but the glass was pulled out to allow drainage..

Problem. When I mist heavily it runs down the screen or drips onto sticks and runs to screen then down and Its able to slip passed the Pvc bottom.. makes a healtthy mess. :(

Anyone had the same problem. I'm on carpet here so I could see If I wasn't not a big deal. That and it'll eventually ruin the wood stand

You can get something like this. http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-cages-and-vivariums/screen-reptile-c…
You can also find something similar at Tractor Supply stores called a rabbit cage pan and put some pvc pcs in the bottom to lift the cage up so it does not sit in the water and rust.
If you need you can have it drain into a bucket also :)

I have bricks holding the center down and it does drain into a bucket through the center my problem Is that since the bottom is a flat peice of Pvc all the water that runs down the screen sides runs past the bottom plate and leaks around the edges onto my stand then from my stand to the carpet and surrounding areas. One option I came up with is to set my stand (about 2' tall) into a large shallow tub. Like a large kitty litter pan. To catch all this extra. But my stand will eventually go bad from water.

Just a thought ... I went to walmart and bought one of those Sterlite modular Drawers . They have single drawer ones in the store . Just cut a hole in the center of the top and put very small holes in the floor of your enclosure . Water goes down in there and you just take out the drawer and empty it . Here's the link to the page they are on ... they don't show the 1 drawer one , but they have them .

Lol I'm not being clear.. I appreciate ur input and its my fault but I have center drainage that catches 85% of my water and successfully drains. My problem. It runs down the sides and goes on the outside of my floor pan. And runs down the legs of the stand, thus missing my entire drainage operation and gets to the floor. For now I have a towl underneath my stand that I have to change out every other day or so but that's quite a hassle and stressful to frankie most likely. My cage is 2x2x4 ft. And the only thing I've found big enough to catch everything by setting it in is a child's swimming pool which is quite the eye sore.. the sterilite drawers I did look into but id need at least 27x27" to set my cage in and thats shockingly difficult to find lol

Maybe a larger pan to set the actual stand in?
I've had this issue and it seems
To
Work.

You can even set up the bottom of the cage like this...

With plexiglass or any other sort of plastic. How its. At angle to have the water drain in.
Sorry about my stupid drawing haha.

Love the drawing! And problemm with setting stand in pan is wood stand stilk gets wet. But wat u just artistacally created looks like my best way to go. :) thank u so much!!

not sure of the width of your cage but you can look for an automotive drain pan to set it in. the square drain pans are funneled so you could just set it in your drain system with the cage on top.

Haha thanks. It's fairly simple. If you don't have tools duct tape is very effective!
