Need help. Mean cham. Mom wants her gone...

Might of found my problem!

So I might of found a big reason of why I stress her out so much. I was informed that they don't like black, red, or pink and any splotchy pattern. Those three colors are the main colors in most of my clothes, and especially coats or sweatshirts which are mostly what I wear now that it's so cold here. So this might be a reason shy she's been getting so angry. So hopefully if I change it, and put some plants on the top, I won't be such a big stress to her.

I'd avoid red and pink...but I wouldn't really worry about black. Any animal that is stressed by black would find NIGHT a horrible experience.

Chameleons don't seem to mind a wall or part of the scenery being those colors but they do react to black when its on something that moves like an animal/person. I think its because most chameleons take on dark colors when they are angry or warning off another animal. As for the red and pink...those are opposite colors to green I think on a color wheel and that might have something to do with it.

If it were me, I'd give her more places to hide up in the higher realms. Maybe you could hang a small pothos from the top? I think it's possible you're getting hissed at because she doesn't have a place she feels she can safely hide from you.

i agree, add a couple of pothos! maybe that' s the issue, not the way you dress! :p :D
