Need help for ID

I need id for this chameleon just bought her.Today is her second day with me and she is little stressed.Thanks for help :)

Hi koray77,

The chameleon in the post is a female Chamaeleo chamaeleon. You'll notice that the parietal crest of the casque is developed but rather straight (rather than curved outward) and the occipital lobes are present and moderately developed.

Looking at her, you can also see that her temporal region of her head is slightly indented, indicating she is slightly dehydrated. It isn't bad, but make sure to mist her well to give her a good chance to rehydrate.

Thnks for help chris so she came from tunisia and she is chamaeleo chamaeleon (common chameleon) same as cham. in turkey right ?

Hi koray77,

The animals in Tunisia are from the nominate subspecies (Chamaeleo chamaeleon chamaeleon), while the animals in Turkey are the subspecies Chamaeleo chamaeleon recticrista.
