He is not fat... Just big boned! Looks ok to me.
I agree with Chad.
He looks healthy!
What's his feeding schedule? I know you are providing a good diet.
Kitty looks chunky in the legs and tail too. He eats only (and I repeat ... ONLY)
superworms.
I do my best to gut load them and dust with calcium at nearly every feeding.
He WILL NOT eat anything else.

I would agree with chad and brad also. IT doesnt look like gout to me but then again I have only seen one case that was maybe gout and in picsMy vet wasnt up to date with chams even though he used to keep them. I had my first cham put to sleep before any further testing because he went down hill fast and was not very mobile. One thing that is noticable is lumps in the feet. It may look like the knuckles are bigger than normal also it seems that they are lumpy around the joints in the knees.
DONT WORRY SO MUCH!!!
Luie looks GREAT! I always enjoy seeing his pics.
Poor Luie-you didn't tell him his legs looked fat did you?![]()
Cage life and a lack of exercise and well gut-loaded abundant bugs will do that to a lizard!
Leon has long legs! But they are not all that thin! Leon is also a very active Chameleon-cruising the cage or coming out to cruise the house. Did you get Luie from Mike?
I'm gunna have to go ahead and say he is one of the most healthy looking veileds on the forum...imo his legs dont look suspect of anything but a lil tlc...
Jan, here is an example of what gout looked like:
