My veiled chameleon is weak and not taking his calcium.

Like I mentioned before we took away the dropper because it flooded my tank. I stuck with misting. He never comes down to the leaves to drink

I’m always misting and he never drinks the drops

I read another forum and a guy had the same problem

He said he used a syringe and dropped the water

He hung the water over the chams nose until he lapped it up

Most chameleon don’t let you watch the drink water I have seen mine drink only a couple of times

I saw him drink yesterday

But still, I saw what a hydrated chameleon poop looks like and mine has way more to go.

How has your cham been doing? I got my first chameleon not quite 3 years ago and now I have 5 of them. In all of this time and with all of these chams, I’ve once seen one take a very quick partial leaf lick and another shoot his tongue at a water droplet. Their urates are healthy and the only times I see sunken in eyes is when they’ve gotten stressed.

He’s doing good. He shed a ton of skin.

This might be a problem but due to his shedding, his left eye is closed

Lemme just add one thing before I take pictures. sometimes It will be when I’m misting. He closes on eye for a significant amount of time.
