Gawd, these are probably the worst vivarium pictures ever taken- apologies for my old camera and (apparently) unsteady hands. However, here are my two brev tanks for your viewing pleasure. (see attachments)
One is a twenty long, the other is a twenty high. Each of them houses a group of 1.2 brevs. I started with one female and two male juveniles (WC) last September in the twenty long, but I knew that was a bad ratio and I wanted more! So I built the twenty high and it sat empty for a few months. In December I noticed one of the males was pretty much bullying the other one, displaying at him, chasing him, etc. (probably the onset of sexual maturity, as he also started chasing the female pretty vigorously around the same time) so I moved the smaller male into the twenty. Then in early January I (finally!) got three more adult females! After quarantine I distributed them among the males. And, excitingly, when I got home from work today I found one of the females in the twenty long laying eggs!! Wish me luck!! ^___^
