My new veiled cham set-up

Took a few days to find a veriety of different size sticks and clean them. Also used soen fake vines with leaves.

Have a 26W 5.0 UVB + a normal 60W on top and a Taylor temp/HR with probe
(you can see the black probe wire in the second pic).

My juvie is male, and his name is Smeagol. He is about 3 months old and very cute.

All pics were take with no flash and through the screen because I did not want to disturb him since he only arrived this morning and is not acclimated yet.

Have you thought about putting some live plants in his enclosure? It would help with the humidity and give him more things to climb and hide in.

I know it, I am going to the garden center at Home Depot this weekend and get a few plants.
What do you recommend?
I have heard they do nibble on plants, so need something safe, was thinking ficus!?

Smeagol isnt eating! I think 60W bulb is not hot enough for him, so I will need to go higher!! I will try 75W next, then 100 if I have to.

I have a zoomed 50 Watt Basking bulb. Be careful you don't want it to be too hot! You can give your cham burns. I use this as my references hope it helps you
