My new buddy Randall

how do you hand feed? ive already tried and nothing happens

Hello and congrats on your new arrival!!:)
My panther started to eat crickets from my hand straight away when I got him. He was 3/4 months old, not sure..
What are you trying to hand feed him?

Female for sure, colors aside there is no noticable hemipenal bulge in pic2. As far as the locale you may never know unless whoever you purchased her from knows for sure.

My jackson let me hand feed right from the start. I free ranged them with my baby panther at first. Then as he got older every few days, Id offer him a feeder from hand(first feeder, when hes HUNGRY). Then free range the rest. Eventually he got use to it. Took about a month and a half all in all probably. I believe it would be easier to teach a juvinile, as they seem RAVENOUS all the time, and are less likely to turn you down. Just keep trying. If you give "treats" like super worms, try it with those.

He/she is a total spaZZ, I can't put my hand near him before he freaks out and tries to hide or fight for his life. So far no injuries, phew. The only other chameleon i have owned is my female i raised from a few weeks old. And she has been very loving and loves to be handled. I guess I should just let my new cham adjust to his new home and let him be for now? it's just that I want to snap a few pics of him showing really good color so You guys can help me determine the actual sex.

A better pic of the vent/tail is all we'll need

Great advise! Try with something he loves first!!

You might have to rename Randallia :p

Haha yes..
i shall. And it is definately a female. No bulge what so ever. Just wondering why she can turn so many different colors where my other female is always so earthy colored. And I've been trying to hand feed crickets and waxworms. Both of which she has no interest in, unless they're free roaming all around. And I tried yet again to pick her up out of he enclosure and it is near impossible. :D

So it turns out she is a female

I already have a female and was aiming for a male. I already have a true male lined up and I just have to get rid of "ROSE" now. If anyone is interested let me know. I'm in the Orlando, FL area. PM me or text me 321-277-3177 I have a lot more recent pics. She really has nice colors, but I'm too attached to my first female to chose over her.
-Thanks David
