SWEET!

I kept waiting for cham close-ups though

:p

Looks like a heck of an operation. :)

What do you use for timers exactly?

man thats a tiny little bucket it all drains into. do you empty it twice a day?

The set up looks great. really neat and tidy. Thanks for the pictures and ideas.

the rooms the set up and close ups  that would be a huge thread, youve seen the updates from the last couple days i try ;)
the timers are made by noma and indoor/outdoor, which is nice, and they handle alot of power with two grounded outlets ( 600w per )

I Like it! A LOT!!! :D Are your uvb fixtures home-made?

the fixtures for the bulbs are homemade, out of metal stud caps, i have alot of pics of how to, if anyone is ever interested

i acctually dont really need the drainage for my typical misting schedual, ( which is shorter than many, but my chams have great urate:cool:) but i used to shower each cham and its getting to be to much shower time with so many, so now when i want i can just run the mistking for as long as i like.

thanks for all the comments so far. i love it

Looks like a professional breeding operation to me! Very nice.

I especially like the trophies sitting below the chameleon cages. Just shows what you're most proud of (on top)!

Dude that looks exactly like my drainage you were right. Except it's got many more cages. Oh well maybe one day! Haha looks good though.

ya those are a few of my fav's from the car show days, but chams are better

yea, i told you... works great, we think alike:cool:

Im suprised to see the jade plant being healthy in a cage - I kill those things so easily

LoL funny you say that. jade is one of the only plants i can grow, it and pothos, i am terrible with plants

I'd love to see some pics of how you made those :) Is there an individual one for each cage? or longer tubes span across?

i use a exoterra light ballast unit which allows the use of any size bulb, so i just cut the metal to the lenght needed, i usually cover 2-3 cages with each bulb. i adjust according to how many chams im keeping.
right now i have 4 bulbs covering the 7 cages, and when i add a cham to the last cgae i just add longer bulbs. :)

i will put together a quick thread as to how i did them and pm you.

here ya go Al :)

That is a great setup! What did you use to separate the individual cages, so that your chams don't see each other?

it is choloroplast platic sheeting, like what they use for "for sale" signs.
i also used it for the drainage, i really like the stuff :):)

First off. This is amazing. Just. Gah. Someday....

Second! I had seen you and some other users post about chloroplast before. And for the life of me couldn't remember what it was called because i was going to use it for a drainage system as well. Thank you for putting my mind at ease!:)

Really cool set up Hoj!! You are using 16x16x30 cages correct? I just LOVE seeing other peoples cham rooms, it gives me such inspiration. So do you keep all your NON-Montane's in another room? What do you do differently between the two rooms temp and humidity wise?

I like ur setup ,very professional,my setup is similar but urs is more thought out.thank u for ur ideas.

Hoj the room looks great, nice clean lines, a very professional look. You née to come and rework my room. Compared to yours mine looks like a beginners get up.
But at least mine has more stuff automated than yours. Does that count for something?
