my lovely little mess maker ...

well she did end up spending another night in her bin :( i hate seeing her like that looks so uncomfortable....hopefully she lays them this morning!!
but if not what would be the longest it should take her?

ruru came out of her bin tonight and is on her usuall sleeping spot the whole she dug is coverd up for the most part does this mean she is done??
she doesnt look much thinner :\ shes also very very veryyyy thirsty... iv been giving her as much water as she wants.
both of her eyes look really swollen though :(

Give her a cricket or worm and see if she will eat. Has she lost any weight? Camille will loose 20 to 23 grams from laying eggs.

Hopefully it won't be long if she still has eggs. I'd hate to rush into an oxytocin shot, seeing as it causes labor to be much more painful and intense, but she may need it if this goes on for a good while longer. Best of luck though! Seriously, hope that both you and her are able to relax soon!

since its late her before i read your post i gave her time to warm up and dry off from her water and let her rest but first thing in the morning i will offer her soom food and she if she will eat. i honestly have never weighed her so im not sure if she has lost weight ...she doesnt look much thinner but im not 100% sure as to it could be just the way she is standing.

since she is sleeping in her usual spot i snuck her laying bin out and checked she did lay her eggs!!! im so glad that its finally over with!! she layed 48 of them
i kinda feel bad b/c im throwing them out after all the work she did
now to work on getting her back to her normal self :p

They look normal and 48 is probably all of them. If you are not planning to mate you should cut back on her food and heat in a few days but feed her well the next few days and use extra calcium without D3.

glad to know its probably all of them :) no i dont plan on mating her...i have a 25 watt for her basking should i just shut that off completely? until it gets colder out? and i will definately feed her well for a few days and give her plenty of water ... i have fuker's cricket quencher that is calcium fortified and i have T-Rex bone aid calcium powder without D3....should i keep her schedual for her rep-cal with D3 the same ? or should i do it early this month?

Congrats! So glad she laid them and that everything's fine.

You'll want to keep her hottest temp at about 80* after she has a few good days food and recovery, so try lifting the light off the cage a little to get that desired temp.

glad it all went well. and im also glad you didnt take the advice to rush her to the vet for a shot... there are many members here that breed and if questions arise in the future I would definately go to them for advice/knowledge.

sometimes it seems people are on the extreme side of things
