Here's the address of the reptile humane society in Colorado.
Don't know how much help that is to you but perhaps if you contacted them they would have knowledge of local rescues in your area.

Thanks Brad, I rather not deal witht he humain society, as many of them do not beleive (along with the SPCA) that exotics (espaeciallt reptiles and amphibians) should be kept at all.

I don't think they are associated with the humane society.
Check out the site.
They are no kill and adopt out animals on a regular basis.
