My Chameleon is digging

my male chameleon keeps digging in the substrate. is that odd behavior?

are you 100% sure it is a male?. the females start to dig when they are gonna lay eggs.

I have a veiled chameleon and it's about 2-3 months old and I'm 100% sure it's male because it has spurs. I have a male and a female and the male is always digging

Then maybe it is just what they do! I have a male panther and I have never seen him dig. I am sure someone else with a Veiled will give you feedback on this one then! I know there someone on here before who thought they had a male and it was a female that was gravid!
